Captain and team MVP of the 1964-65 Falcon basketball team, Bob Dwors led the team in rebounds his junior and senior seasons, and in scoring his last year. His 23.1 ppg average that year ranked fourth best at the time, and still stands seventh all-time at Bowling Green. The season was highlighted by two 40 point efforts, January 29 at Syracuse, and in the season finale March 6 at Marshall. As a sophomore, he was a member of Harold Anderson's last team at BG, helping the team led by stars Nate Thurmond and Howard Komives win the MAC Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

He was inducted to the BG Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.
