Don Kepler won a MAC title in the 200-meter freestyle event in 1955. He was the first of seven straight Falcons to win that event. He also was a member of the golf team during his time at BG.

Kepler graduated in 1957 and was inducted to the BG Athletic Hall of Fame in 1972.
